if you just bought a $24000 car, and for x reason you want another car that happens to be cheaper, say 17000, can you "trade in" the more expensive car for the cheaper car? it's the first car i ever buy so I'm not familiar with the regulations- no matter how good condition ur car is in, you prolly will not get the book value on it. they just don't wanna give you what ur car is worth
- Did you buy it cash? or are you making payments on it? if you are paying on it you can trade it in, but you will most likely get screwed, they will "roll in" what you still owe. and then some probably. You can try selling it for what you owe or getting someone to take over the payments
